Built in 2003, the Mediterraneo Hotel is housed in a low-rise building set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sierra Helada mountains, with a wonderful 2000 square metre garden. The 176 guestrooms are decorated in an understated, contemporary style. They are clean and well maintained (as are the tiled en suite bathrooms) and the largest ones have interconnecting doors. The facilities on offer at this hotel include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and a TV room. There’s also an air-conditioned restaurant, offering an international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants.
