The Calypso Hotel is housed in a modern, angular 12-storey building, with a 5-storey annex at the rear. You are welcomed by an impressive and elegant steel colonnaded entrance and a garden with rocks and ornamental waterfalls. The 296 guestrooms are all tastefully furnished and well equipped. Sun beds and parasols are plentiful on the spacious terrace and guests can take a dip in the swimming pool or relax over a drink at the bar. There is a children's playground and a full entertainment programme and activities. Meals are all buffet style and there are theme buffets every day to ensure plenty of choice. The hotel is visited regularly by those who like to dance, as it features a good-sized dance floor.
