Excellent stay. Will be back. Only thing that spoiled it was finding, and getting, car into car park. Long way to carry cases and sign post, to and from hotel, not good.

Absolutely no sunbeds available unless you queued up at 8.00am in the lobby ready for the stampede into the pool area. centrally located to everything. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars with great entertainment

There was a few bad points, we were told by your web site there was a mini bar (fridge) and air conditioning, when we got into the room there was no mini bar (fridge) also was told the air conditioning didn't come on till June, never heard anything like that, other hotels had are con working fine in May. So water in room was warm and so was the room. If this could be rectified then I would stay again

Good location, lots of local bars and food. Little walk to night life, but worth it. Little walk to beach.

The arrangements were excellent and we booked into our hotel without any hitches. We would certainly use your company in the future.

The Ambassador Playa hotel is in the heart of Benidorm nightlife, just a couple of streets back from the sea front and easily accessible.

During our stay at Ambassador Playa Hotel Benidorm thought hotel was reasonable but have stayed in better it depends really on the individuals expectations, age group and time of year that you stay. there.eg;met a couple that have been going there for 13 years and love it.Need to clarify which hotel your staying as we didnt realise that there is an Ambassador Play 1 and 2 hotel although linked together parts i felt didnt meet descriptions. Also if bothered about a view e.g; a pool view make sure you request this when booking and ask again when you arrive to book in at the hotel otherwise expect views of many high rises and building work plus in the area of the hotel is very brit orientated so lots of night life to listen to.

Playa levante benidorm which is the area that the above hotel is situated i feel is aimed mainly at the brits loads of high rises, karaoke bars, loads of brit pubs offering numerous comedians some singers and sex shows also loads of places where you can get british food breakfast etc.To be honest after a couple of nights in that area apart from the lovely warm weather you could forget you were actually in spain. However if like us you like things a bit more traditional head down the beautiful promenade which is all lit up and so clean and head for the old town of benidorm here i thought a little bit more spanish atmosphere was lovely good mix of pubs/clubs for most ages.Weekends mainly Saturday is for the spanish locals but dont let that put you off they are very polite sociable people and certainly know how to enjoy themselves.Sunday and Wednesday is market day starting at 9.00am brilliant huge market but in the main its clothes, shoes, bags and lace items prices i found very reasonable but worth shopping around the stalls if you like markets you can easily spend the whole morning there.Try and visit areas outside Benidorm we got local No.10 bus,1 euro each way per person to Altea, brilliant bus service every 15 mins and a tip wherever the bus drops you off it will pick you up in the same place but on the other side of the road so you dont have to go looking for another stop.Altea is typical spanish area fell in love with it you must go to the top to the church all stone cobbled streets white washed houses restaurants tucked away traditional bars/tapas when you get to the top where you will by then have earned yourself a nice cold jug of sangria. Guadalest again another beautiful area well worth visiting. If money a bit tight you could use the blanket trips to go and see these places the trips are free but you have to be prepared to sit through a demonstration but there is no obligation to by no hard sell.Valencia a fantastic city the third largest in spain you need at least a day and probably the best way to get around to see the city at speed is to get the tourist bus it takes you all the way round the main areas. You can get a bus or train there if you feel adventurous or go on an organised trip but with some trips you have limited amount of time to see things. So all in all not bad be prepared to take Benidorm as you find it, be prepared to explore its worth it,theres so much more to the area than you think culture and so on,after all said and done i would go back but would stay at the old town and use benidorm as a good base.
